The objective was to create a concise and energetic animation that aligned with the European Commission’s institutional branding while remaining accessible to the general public. The project required a clean, modern aesthetic to communicate the benefits of sustainable mobility—such as health, environment, and efficiency—within a very tight narrative timeframe.
The main challenge was visual synthesis. Sustainable mobility is a broad topic, and the spot had to represent various modes of transport (cycling, walking, public transit) and their impact on the urban landscape without cluttering the screen. Every element had to be perfectly timed to the voice-over to ensure the message was absorbed instantly by a multilingual European audience.
My goal was to create a high-impact flow. I focused on using smooth transitions and parallax technics to guide the viewer through the benefits of the campaign. The objective was to maintain a positive, forward-thinking tone that inspired change rather than just providing information, ensuring the animation felt «light» and «mobile» to match the campaign’s theme.
The result is a polished, professional spot that effectively promotes the values of the European Mobility Week. It demonstrates my capacity to handle high-stakes institutional communication, delivering a clear and visually compelling message that meets the rigorous standards of the European Commission.
