La Llei del Català

Client

Government of Andorra

An institutional awareness campaign for the Government of Andorra (Servei de Política Lingüística). This project required transforming legislative concepts regarding the «Official Language Law» into a vibrant, accessible visual narrative.

The campaign illustrates the rights and duties regarding the use of Catalan in commercial and social settings, designed to be deployed universally across cinemas, television, and social media.

Challenges & Objectives

/ Project Overview

The brief called for a concise, dynamic spot to inform citizens and businesses about legal requirements—such as signage, restaurant menus, and customer service. The narrative needed to present these obligations through a friendly, fluid motion graphics style, avoiding dry legal text in favor of clear visual storytelling.

/ Challenges

The core challenge was multi-platform engineering. The animation had to be composed in a way that worked seamlessly across drastically different aspect ratios without losing visual information. I had to design a master composition that could be effectively reframed for Cinema (Scope), Standard (16:9), and Social Media (9:16 Vertical), ensuring the narrative remained clear on both a massive theater screen and a smartphone.

/ Objectives

My objective was visual clarity and versatility. I aimed to make the information precise yet dynamic, using smooth transitions to guide the viewer through different scenarios (shops, hotels, digital interfaces). The goal was to create a modular design system where the assets could be rearranged for different outputs without requiring a full re-animation for every format.

/ Final Outcome

The result is a highly versatile communication asset that successfully bridged the gap between government policy and public understanding. The campaign was deployed across multiple channels, proving that institutional messaging can be engaging, modern, and adaptable to the fragmented digital landscape.
